How to eat it?
Also known as ‘langsat’, ‘lanzones’ or ‘Lansium parasiticum’ for you Latin speakers.
Peel the skin off with your fingers and eat the segments. Some segments may have a green pit inside, you can still eat the fruit around it but avoid the bitter tasting pit.
The segments will be translucent when ripe
How to store it?
Store in the fridge and try to eat as soon as possible or in the first few days. Black blemishes on the skin mean they are ripe and ready to eat 🙂
